About Kombucha

If you’re unfamiliar with kombucha, it is a fermented tea with probiotic cultures, enzymes and trace nutrients used mainly for digestion and gut health. Kombucha is thought to have originated in North East China and reportedly used in East Russia as early as 1900.

Our Kombucha

Artisan Kombucha is different from other kombucha currently available. We batch brew to the full length of time without diluting or adding probiotics. Because of this, it contains more nutrients and a more dense and savory flavor than commercial kombucha.

Our kombucha is brewed in small batches and every batch is brewed with excellence and integrity with an emphasis on traditional, old-timey flavors. We brew with organic black tea as well as other teas for seasonal and experimental flavors. We use whole, raw fruit, veggies and herbs that are juiced or soaked, never using juices from concentrate or chemical additives. Artisan Kombucha is raw, unfiltered, untampered and fully alive, making it a rich source of probiotics, enzymes and nutrients.

We have a passion and a belief in local farmers, urban growers and orchard keepers and we aim to use local produce whenever possible. In addition to our year round flavors, we brew batches based off what is available seasonally and locally. Right now we are brewing the following batches.
